Prior to occupancy, we will do a thorough house inspection and host a walkthrough. We strive to hand over a deficiency-free home at occupancy. A third party home warranty certification will be issued at occupancy with Urban Roots providing after-occupancy services as per the Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) home performance guide.
With permit in hand, we will mobilize the demolition of the existing home (if required) and begin construction of the new home. We will diligently follow your budget, schedule and ensure quality is maintained throughout the entire process. You’ll receive consistent updates from us to ensure the end product exceeds your expectations.
Working closely with the interior designer, we will prepare complete architectural and structural plans, design concepts and interior design drawings. We will apply to the city for permits and formalize the construction budget and calendar. Knowing that permitting can be a lengthy process, we will submit plans as early as possible so we can finalize design elements and begin executing as soon as we receive permit approval.
We do our due diligence and review all possible considerations for your project including design, regulations, potential costs and timing. We will discuss and determine your needs and vision. Preliminary design concepts will be provided, and once signed off, we will move on to the next phase.
